I spent an evening in Franz Ferdinand while on a business trip in Herborn. The owner was friendly and very welcoming. The restaurant itself is quite charming too. The only seating still available was at the bar, but it was comfortable nonetheless. I had a Bitburger and tried their Chicken Salad, and left satisfied. Reservations are recommended to get a table for dinner.

Nice little restaurant in the city center. Parking nearby. Tapas and various other things for dining until 22:00 o'clock. Good quality of food, price line totally fine and adequate. Seating is critical depending on the time of day and number of visitors, better call ahead. Friendly service. A little louder with full locality. Rustic ambience with a historical character. Arrived at the place by chance, we were pleasantly surprised by the staff welcome, the quality of the map, and the warm place. A place apparently popular with locals, offering a local beer and varied tapas. Nice portions at low prices!

Cozy place and a menu not bad, I recommend for a quiet evening.

This was the small veggie tapas. Tasted very nice but the portion could have been bigger. Was quite crowded and loud inside so not great for conversation but has a nice interior design.

Very nice service and cozy restaurant. The tapas can only be recommended. The prices are absolutely ok. When I come to Herborn again, I'll go to Franz Ferdinand again!
